You know, it's Halloween. I guess everyone is entitled to one good scare, huh?: My Top 10 Alternative Halloween Films

wannagotothemovies:

Right! Today is Halloween. That old tradition of dressing up and going trickle-treating as a kid or for the older folk, a good scary movie to sink your fangs into.

Well, I’m sorry to disappoint but you won’t find anything proper scary here! I make it no secret that I have absolutely no interest in Horror/Scary films, but when I do there often got humour built in them. So some will be comic-horror or light thriller films.

This post is dedicated to my Top 10 Alternative Halloween Films.

Wanna go to the Movies?: LOVEFiLM Review: The Slammin' Salmon (2009) → wannagotothemovies.tumblr.com

wannagotothemovies:

The brutal former heavyweight boxing champion Cleon “Slammin’” Salmon, now owner of a Miami restaurant, institutes a competition to see which waiter can earn the most money in one night: the winner stands to gain $10,000, while the loser will endure a beating at the hands of the champ.

The Slammin’ Salmon is another film bought to you by Broken Lizard, who also gave us Beerfest and Super Troopers. Both hilarious comedies that I highly recommend.
